What we do
To begin with an Essential Skills in the Workplace Development Manager will meet with you and your employer to carry out an initial skills assessment.
Once we identify your needs you will be allocated your own dedicated Essential Skills Coach who will visit you in your workplace once a month to develop your skills on the job, ensuring the training is based on the precise skills you need to develop in your job role.
About the programme
The Essential Skills Wales qualifications aim to ensure that everyone in Wales has the skills they need to succeed in life. A similar suite of qualifications is being rolled out in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Different countries place a slightly different emphasis on which skills they teach, and how they assess students, and because of this there are lots of different names for the qualifications.
Saving you time and money
We realise that time and money are the biggest challenges to engaging in training.
Time - this development programme takes place ‘on the job’ ensuring minimum disruption to your business, ensuring your staff do not need days away from their office on training courses
Money – this development is fully funded by the Welsh Government, at absolutely no cost whatsoever apart from the cost of time to meet with an Essential Skills Personal Development Manger once a month
